Species notes
Overview
In flight, shows prominent pale tail tips. Bill short and chunky, darker in adult, paler in juvenile. Note range in arid inland eastern Australia focused on the Lake Eyre Basin.
Behavior
Essentially identical to Chiming Wedgebill except for its voice.
