Overview
Unlike in other similar bowerbirds, sexes alike. Compare larger Great Bowerbird, which has pink crest in male and lacks orange-toned underparts.
Behavior
Males build and decorate avenue bowers to display to females, while both sexes feed mainly on fruit and insects.
