Species notes
Small arboreal Australian robin. Male slaty-gray above, with pink breast and white belly and undertail. Female gray above, paler below, with pink tinges to the breast. Often droops wings while perched and shivers. Song a long, distinctive phrase that is worth learning.
White outer tail feathers noticeable when sallying for insects, recalling fantails. Forages in the mid-story of rainforest of southeastern Australia.
